Froli Sleep System?

Post by Jim Evans »

Does anybody have experience with the Froli Sleep System? I understand this is a German system of composite "springs" that go under existing foam mattresses to provide add'l support and ventilation. They are designed for marine and RV use. It seems to me they make a lot of sense.

Thanks.

We put them on our boat last year, right before taking off and living aboard for 3 months. The system worked great for my mate, but if you are over 200lbs, like me, you need closer spacing and you need to screw the system down to prevent movement. Once I did that it worked as advertised. The folks who sell the system were extremely helpful and even supplied extra spring tighteners for free when I explained my issue with them at the boat show.
I like the idea of air movement under the mattress and it does give you a very comfortable box spring like feeling.
