Hi all,
Here in Niue I was able to log onto their wireless internet connection and finally update the Fenix website.
Go here to view pics and some commentary.

You should always have an odd number of holes in your boat!
Fred,
Thanks for getting your website up. Here in Wisconsin, we have what feels like the first day of winter. Cold north winds today, freezing temperatures tonight with snow flurries expected tomorrow. Your photographs took me away for the few minutes I was following your narrative. Although I've never sailed there, I've been in Tahita 3 times since 1977 and island hopped on a friend's boat from Townsville to Cairnes. I think a lot of being on one of those tropical islands during the long winters here. Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures with the group.

A Great Adventure
Fred,
Thanks for sharing - but I don't think it's very nice of you to post photos of such warm and blue waters when so many of us are getting ready to haul out for the winter!
I've enjoyed reading about your adventures and have to say you have a lot of testicular fortitude to take your 28 so far. I know that those waves are a lot bigger than they look in your photos!
I know my 25 would gladly go - but she'd have to do it by herself - cause I wouldn't have the nerve!
You are an inspiration to all of us!
Keep us posted, you are always in our thoughts and prayers!
Diana

Al Lien - S/V Catalyst
Hey Fred,
Just took a look at your web site - very nice! My wife and I are on our way to Mexico on our CD36 and we happen to run in to Al of S/V Catalyst in the Channel Island marina in Southern California. He's quite an impressive guy. At 70, after a heart and kidney transplant, this guy took off on a solo circumnavigation. When we met up with him he was just completing it and heading for San Diego where a big news thing is happening.
Have enjoyed your site.
