Cape Dory As Desert Movie Star:
Seen the film "Off the Map"? Features a Cape Dory, looks like maybe a 25 ft, not sure. Fair warning, the film takes place in somewhere near Taos, desert southwest miles from navigable water - but there it is, big as life a Cape Dory in the New Mexico desert sunset!
A bit closer to home - started the 9th year exterior re-varnishing program this weekend. Stripping to bare wood then sealing with tung oil sanded with 360 wet/dry and buffed before first coat varnish. Spring Break with heat gun and Interlux.......
