A "PhotoShow" of our 2005 sailing season...

Post by Cathy Monaghan »

Bruce and I sailed Realization from Morgan, NJ to Salem, MA this year making many stops and meeting and/or sailing with quite a few Cape Dorys and their crews this year.

Unfortunately, due to a bad media card in our digital camera, we lost ALL of our photos which were snapped between Morgan and Jamestown, RI. So we don't have any photos from the rendezvous at Jamestown. So we learned a valuable lesson -- any photos taken today must be downloaded to the computer today and have a second camera aboard just in case.

The first few photos were snapped in Oyster Bay, NY during the July 4th float-in. Then they jump right to Wickford, RI. Anyway, I think these are some of the best. (The PhotoShow is large and will take a LONG time to load, even with a fast cable or broadband connection.) So if you've got a fast internet connection, or have nothing else to do, take a look at:

Cathy,

Thanks for the show; it is brilliant. You are truely a wiz. It was great to put 'faces' on the people and boats we hear of here.

While watching I was reminded of the great work you do as our webmaster and how important you are to this board and our community.

Thank you!

Cathy,
Fantastic job with the site. Fantastic pictures. Hard to take a lousy picture of a Cape Dory...uh...even if you try!!

Cathy,
The show is wonderful. We miss seeing our CD friends so it is a joy to see them on their boats in wonderful settings.

You definitely have a talent for compiling videos.
