CCDO has received a notice of the Cape Dory Sailboat Owners Asociation's Third Annual Groundhog Day Extravaganza.
This event will be held at Solomons Island, MD, on February 20. It includes a flea market, business meeting, presentations on gelcoat maintenance and heavy weather sailing adventures, dinner, and plans for the CDSOA annual cruise. (I believe the previous cruises have been on the Chesapeake.) The Extravaganza runs all day on the 20th and there is also a breakfast on the 21st.
I don't have a phone or on-line contact specifically for this event, so perhaps someone from CDSOA will post an email address for inquiries. Registration deadline is January 27. There is a special event rate ($64/$74) with the Holiday Inn.

Anyone having an interest in buying a 1980 CD27 on the Chesapeake can contact me via e-mail at lheiges@compuseve.com or phone 727-367-2135 (FL). Boat is in good shape although it has been a year and a half since the teak was done. It is in the northern part of the bay in very brackish water (and has been since 1986). Never a problem and has been a true and faithful love!Walt Bilofsky wrote: CCDO has received a notice of the Cape Dory Sailboat Owners Asociation's Third Annual Groundhog Day Extravaganza.
