Well I finally broke down and spent the $8k for new sails.
I could not be happier with the result. Its amazing. The boat now will balance. Before inorder to balance the boat I had to roll in some of the headsail to take out excessive weather helm. Now I just make slight adjustments to the main.
I can get the helm totally neutral if I want it.
I also got a dutchman system and while the main is not well trained at this time the system works ok. I expect that after the main is more broken in it will work better.
All in all its like having a new boat. Tern was never a problem to handle before with blown out sails now she is fantastic.

The sails are Mack from Nance Underwood in Fort Lauderdale. Nance has been very professional.
