CD25 manual and plans

Post by John Broadwater »

I just bought CD 25 #392 ("LAGNIAPPE") and would like to get a copy of the owner's manual. Can anyone suggest a source (a photocopy would be fine)? Also, are hull and sail plans available? Thanks!

I'm curious about the name of your boat, as I've seen several boats with that name. The only definition I'm aware of is, I believe, of Cajun derivation, meaning a little something extra given a customer by a merchant at the time of a purchase, such as the 13th doughnut in a baker's dozen. What is your understanding of the meaning?

p.s. I don't have a source for the manual, but I've heard before that there was not a specific CD25 manual. I think there was one manual for the whole line, with individual drawings for different features within the line. Someone else might be able to add to this, though.

I have the 1977 manual, which covers the Typhoon up to the CD30; send a s-mail address and I will ship you a copy.

Hey Walt - If I get the thing scanned, can you post it?
