Farymann A-30 diesel info needed

I am the new owner in Maine of a Cape Dory 28 sloop equipped with a one-cylinder, 12 hp Farymann A-30 diesel. This is an angine unfamiliar to me. Anyone with experience with this engine such as idiosyncrancies, maintenance, etc.? Advice appreciated. -Joe Brown
