So, my good friend, if you are reading this post, please take the time to post some of your CD "eye candy". I know and have admired your work on your website for several years.

Great! It's really nice to see others jumping in with their sailing photos. Your photos don't have to be pics of your boat or other CDs. Show us how and where you use your boat and what you see along the way.

Troy,
No. I'm sorry to say that on my 2nd anniversary of owning this boat I have not come up with a name for her. Perhaps I'm trying too hard; maybe reading too much in to it.
All of the names that first came to mind turned out to be all to common. Ideally I would like to derive a name that when you look at her you would say, of course that's her name. But it just hasn't occured to me yet.
Thanks,
Warren

Gorgeous pictures...
There are so many talented photographers out there. It would be great to have greeting cards or a calendar made to show off these great pictures....

Hi Zeida
Hi Zeida,
I use only digital. I have not shot any film in years.
I happen to be using a 12.3 megapixel camera now, but I got good quality when I had a 6 MP camera. For web or email use, even 6 MP is way more then is really necessary, since everything is displayed on the computer at roughly 72 ppi. It is only when you get into large prints, or large offset printing reproduction (like in a magazine), that the camera's native resolution becomes critical.
Then, of course, there is Photoshop. I personally shoot everything as RAW files, and use Adobe Lightroom for general tweaks, and only create TIFs, JPEGs and PSDs as needed for reproduction. Most files never get beyond the RAW stage, but they are always there in the computer should I ever decide to take them further. The shots in this group were tweaked in Lightroom, then exported as JPEGs directly to the web gallery (which Lightroom also generated). Very few of the shots were further tweaked in Photoshop, but some were.
I hope that that helps.

Nice Work
There are so many good photographers out there.
I wanted to say that Tom's images particularly spoke to me. Very nice!
By the way, some of my captions were wrong; I have changed that now. In particular, I had labeled some Pulpit Harbor shots as Isleboro.

Dean, I really like the one of you with the hammer.
Tom, in addition to those beautiful photos, I love the names of your boats.
Here are some more photos of, or rather on, our boat. They were snapped last year. I think Bruce was trying to get some shots of the new yankee.
