OK this thread has been so fun, here are a few from out trip to the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area, Ontario. Season starts up here in T minus three months! Mind you, there is 5-9 inches of snow forecasted for tomorrow!

Jerezana last August after her big rebuild ... Awlgrip 2000 Toreador Red, Oyster, Moon Dust nonskid

@ Rhode Island YC

Topsides to match the new Beta below decks ... :D . The eagle eyed will notice the new mid ship toe rail Spartan cleats ...

Also the ice box has a cold plate and there is a Wabasto cabin air heater hidden in one of the lockers ... love my little ship and looking forward to a full season this year. 4/15 to 11/15.

Kathy: your boat looks great !

cheers ... Fred Mueller

Great work Fred, very tastefully executed.
What product have you used on your cockpit seats. Is it the same as used on the cockpit floor?

Hi Jim ...

That's Seadek: http://www.seadek.com/c-108-designer-la ... rning.aspx

It comes in all kinds of colors; (some of them really gross), but this sand color looked ok to me. The guy comes and traces your surfaces with a wire/laser device and they cut the stuff and then return and it just sticks. My seat cushions (which I never had room for) are dry docked now. Yes its on the cockpit sole too. They say 5-8 typical sailing seasons. I think it was about $1700. I'd have to look at my receipts (which is something I try to avoid doing.)

It doesn't get hot on hot days. and is mild to the touch in raw weather, and there is no glare. Gives great traction underfoot ... but most importantly, the beer may topple (if you burry the rail), but it never "slides" ignominiously to leeward. Same for winch handles, binos, ipads, charts, Planters peanuts etc.

The foam is from a reversing tidal rapid in Fish Egg Inlet, BC. The second photo is the beach at the anchorage just east of Westcott Point, BC. Sandy beaches are uncommon on the Inside Passage - not enough wave action generally.
