I think putting numbers in the locker and epoxying them in is probably a better idea than my beautiful board and it is a lot cheaper. Also, it does not take up any room and storage is at a premium on the 25D.
Trapper, Bly and ALL:
I think the numbers (from WM or HD, etc.) are either plastic or vinyl. Will epoxy "stick" to plastic or vinyl I am pretty sure epoxy will NOT stick to vinyl but not sure about plastic.
We are now into 6 consecutive days of 25-30 kts wind on Biscayne Bay. I know S/V Bali Ha'i would enjoy it. I also know I probably would not.

I dont know about epoxy but you could probably use paper and put enough clear lacquer to decoupage it to the hull where it would scar if you removed it.

Got a call from the Coasties on Good Friday. They needed a physical address prior to completing her registration. Lady on the phone said it would go in the mail that day (Friday). Certificate of Documentation arrived today! Dun Deal.
I am pretty sure epoxy will NOT stick to vinyl but not sure about plastic.
