OUTSTANDING PHOTOS :!: :!: :!:

I have very fond memories of Solmar, Minke and Mahalo from the August 2007 CDSOA Maine cruise.

Those are great photos Dean! I sure wish we could have joined in the fun -- hopefully next year.

Its guys like you that explain why I no longer carry a camera. And since the digital age (twenty years ago) enabled photographers to add their name / logo to their work has prevented me from claiming those great pics as mine.

Thanks

Thanks for the kudos. It's pretty hard to get me to take photos when I am sailing (that's my off time), but such a nice gathering deserved to be recorded. Great folks, great boats.

Thanks again to Melissa and Rich for the hospitality, and everyone for bringing food and libation.

I am wondering if we set a record for folks in a CD 36 cockpit, and whether Guinness will reward us in some way.

That sure looked like fun! Pretty funny seeing Mahalo up on a plane. Nice photos Dean!

Passing this on

Post by Dean Abramson »

Jay and Jane Stormer, from the Pearson "TropicBird," asked me to pass on their thanks to all the CDers for including them in the rendezvous. They enjoyed meeting our merry band of sailors.

Jay's a good guy to share an anchorage with. Last year (also at Snow Island) he helped us figure out an engine woe which had us stuck. This year I believe he helped Len out with something.
