Congrats to the Bosox, if only they hadn't stolen that series back in '13, I would be having a Guinness for them, as it is I am having a Guinness for Roberto and my Cards.

Am I watching :?: I have not missed a single at bat in all 5 games.

My beloved Boston Red Sox are the World Champions. :D :D :D

I've got more than a few tears of joy :!: :D :D :D

They may well be the best Red Sox team ever. They were in 1st place wire to wire all season.

It's on my bucket list to be at Fenway for a World Series game. Hopefully next year.

Tim thank you for toasting the Sox with a Guinness. It does mean a lot to me.
Fair winds,

Roberto

Roberto, if I remember correctly you did predict this outcome for today. I will have to pay more attention to your predictions. Slainte!

Tim, I would like to say "yes I did!" but I don't think so. :( I was hoping for a 4 game sweep. With the emotional loss on Friday, 18 innings, I thought it might go 6 with a return to Fenway.

With Friday's game it sure seems like a 6-game series... just didn't make back to Fenway

That would be me, though I certainly wasn't expecting it to take that, uh, let's go with winding path.

And to make sure there's at least a little sailing here, I knew it was a good day when I had an eagle fly over S/v Gabrielle coming back into to Herrington Harbor on Sunday afternoon.
