From viewing the sunfish video and the ones that I have seen it is definitely not a sunfish. Fin shape not even close and they don't move that fast. After looking at the NOAA charts the fin shape to me looks most like the hammerhead and they could certainly maintain the 5-6 knots that Jim was doing.
