FYI
While changing out the steering cable I would highly recommend changing out your throttle and gear shift cables at the same time.
As you will find out, taking apart the unit is no fun, although a tad more work, installing new control cables will pay off in the long run.
you won't have to do the job again for a very long while.

Hey Rit,

Good advice. I have already replaced the shift cable. I think I got one a foot too long but it was what was recommended. Anyway, it has worked for five seasons!

Am finally getting to several jobs on Femme she has deserved for several years. Patient lady. Still jealous of your cockpit sole access! Someday.
