Many thanks to everybody who participated in the cruise and to those who attended the rendezvous/BBQ. Lynne and I enjoyed seeing you all and sharing our new seaside (almost) home.

A special thanks goes to Joe Montana and Fleet Lt. Dick Barthel for planning the inaugural Southern New England Cruise. I hope this event will grow as word gets out. I only regret that a scheduling conflict prevented my from taking Crème Brulée on the cruise.

Here's wishing you all a wonderful rest of the season.

(I'll post an official report on the MASTHEAD blog site when I get back to a computer. Official Photographer Bruce Halley should have some images, including an embarrassing close-up of a carbonized burger bun, my signature culinary achievement of the day.

Thanks to everyone who organized and hosted this event. And thanks also to those who sailed in, drove in, sailed part way and drove the rest of the way.

There are many friendships among our members that have been forged at CDSOA events both on and off the water. If you're not joining in, you're missing out.
Fair winds, Neil
