I fully agree. The Red Cross may not be a perfect operation but it does do a lot of good in situations like Hurricane Sandy. I sent the Red Cross a check on 31 October with specific directions that it be used for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in NY, NJ, MD, DEL, etc.

I do not know anything about the financial situation at Shore Point Marina. I do know that Ken, Ed, Kim and all the staff treated me like I was a beloved relative. I want to do something direct for them as a small measure of my gratitude for their efforts and kindness on my behalf last year, especially in preparation for Hurricane Irene.
