I love the bag idea and think I will try it out this year. As far as lifting outboards in a CD26 Lazeratte…I attach a block and tackle to the end of my boom to help me lift my 9.9. However it is not practical every time I put the boat to bed because the outboard is too big, and can only be removed from the water by lifting it about 8 inches, then twisting it 180 degrees.
So at least the block and tackle save my back when I have to clean the out board [twice a season]. I have thought about widening the hole at the bottom of the motor well. But I have thought of a lot of things I will probably never do to my boat.
