1 GM power problems

Hello,

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and advice. I followed through starting with the simplest fix and going on from there.

Unfortunately; the transmission was diagnosed as slipping. It got progressively worse until there was no torque delivered except at the lowest RPMS.

The transmission overhaul was completed this week and today I motored the five or so miles from the marina back to my mooring.

Everything appeared to operate normally; no strange noises, smells , or slipping. Except the tachometer wasn't working? It's always something.

I haven't received the bill yet, but am keeping my fingers crossed.
