hi...

when i replace the toe rail only parts, six to eight feet long, bending the teak was the hard part....

but, i used white oak and teak on the aft section hatch,

yes i have an aft section hatch,
for the gas tank and fenders and other things....

but, i used allot of red wood "hard wood for cutting" on the inside of the boat...

you can use many types of woods inside and outside....
