I've just bought and transported a new CD31 to Maine. The yard called today because they noticed a crack in the keel under the holding tank leaking "foul fluid". They noticed that was where a block had been placed at the last haul out. So...I think you've solved the mystery for me of how it happened and, good news/bad news, I have a clear idea of the extent of the coming repair job- broomstick and all. I appreciate the openess and helpfulness of this bulletin board and look forward to future involvement.
