Hi everone, that is not that bad of a storm for a 45 footer,
and i think they were drinking or on drugs for them to fall over board and all most lose there boat.
some times people think there boat is to big for any thing to happen, well they found out the hard way.
that should have never happen at all.

Recovering Life Raft

An article in the Hartford Courant containing an interview with the Woodbridge sailor said he and the Captain were on deck trying to recover the raft that had come off the deck and was only connected to the vessel with a tether. They were not preparing to abandon ship.

The article also suggested winds were up to 55 knts. It does seem like parts of the boat were failing.
