Hose Clamp Tip Covers
Heat shrink tubing works for covering the extra "tail" of of hose clamps.
Hamilton Marine sells the AWAB "Tail Tips" http://store.hamiltonmarine.com/browse.cfm/4,28353.htm
but they seem a bit pricey. On the otherhand they are reusable where heatshrink isn't. My local hardware store has good prices on heatshrink or you can try "All Electronics" http://www.allelectronics.com/matrix/He ... ubing.html

Dick, the time we removed all the seacocks, the only thing we did to the exterrior of the hull was to remove the old polysulfide caulking whenever there was still some leftover, and really clean it before re-applying lots of the new caulk bedding and reinserting the thruhull.

Hola, Dominic... Thanks for your compliments. How are you and your girls doing? Do you still have your fabulous 27? I forgot the name of your boat... what was it and where do you keep it ?

Hi Zeida
Hi Zeida, the girls will be going to offshore sailing school this summer. They seem to really love Sailing and our 27. My daughters do not want me to sell it. Daddy, how could you sell our boat! We all love our boat very much. So, that is where I am at. I guess I will be Sailing my 27 for a while more. The name of my boat is Janique. It is the combination of my two daughters names Janine and Dominique. I keep our boat at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City. It is a real fun Marina and there is always something going on. Talk to you soon, Domenic
