CD 22 engine well???

While recently trying to sell my CD22, a perspective buyer said that he never saw a cd22 without an outboard engine well. I thought the cd25 was the first to have that option. Can anyone substantiate this?

CD22 had the outboard on the back, The Typhoon Senior (22' replacement for the CD22) has the engine well. Typhoon Senior started in 1985. AKA, not all 22 footers are CD22. Some are the Senior.
