Water Tank Overflow

I consider full when the water is apt to run out of the port where I am holding the hose. I stop short of that so that if the boat rocks before I get the cover on I won't have an overflow into the bilge. See the previous comments about vent hoses then judge if the highest corner of the tank will be higher than the vent when heeling.

By that standard, it means we only filled the water tank to about 2/3 capacity--at best. That's valuable to know.
