Rigid Vang for CD 33

Does anyone have experience installing and using a rigid boom vang on a CD 33 sloop?

Any recommendations for type or brand?

I just ordered a Garhauer rigid vang. If you read about them on Brian Toss' site, he recommends them....they seem to be highly rated. Do a google image search on garhauer vang and you will see some examples.
