Toe rail attachment
I need to replace parts of my toe rail and rub rail. When I put on the new rails, should I reuse the old screw holes or place the screws so that they tap into fresh fiberglass?

My advice
The thing to do would be to fill all of the old holes with thickened epoxy once the rail is off, then refasten the new rail as necessary, which may mean you hit several of the old holes, but it might also mean drilling a few new ones.

Reusing holes
If there is any curvature to the toe/rubrail, I would avoid using the same holes. You still need to fill them with thickened epoxy, but I would pilot new holes. The rubrail especially is under a good bit of strain on the curves. The holes on our Ty were about on 8" centers. We offset the starting point and measured where the holes would fall in a new location. The holes need to get spaced evenly to make it look right even with teak plugs.
