Typhoon sailcover dimensions needed and a restoration update

Post by bhartley »

Has anyone sewn or ordered a Ty sailcover recently? I planned to use the tattered cover that came with my Ty as a template, but it is clearly not the right size based on the boom length alone.

I have the boom length but dimesions from the mid-boom, throat and height at the mast would be a big help. I only have the sewing machine on loan so fixing it after the boat is rigged isn't an option.

The main is relatively new and has standard battens.

Thanks in advance!

Bly

Hi Bly,

When I see what you have done on the fore-deck, I can only say WOW. We are so lucky with our new Ty. Hope to see you guys this week-end. Maybe we can go sailing.
