A friend of mine is going to look at '78 CD Intrepid 9M berthed in Norfolk, Virginia. I was wondering what thoughts the membership might have on these CD's. I've searched the archives, and there seems to be a real dearth of information on the Intrepids. Any comments, insights, or cautions from the board would be appreciated.

I have an Intrepid 9M in Yorktown VA, about an hour's drive from Norfolk. I would be happy to show it your friend and answer any questions he has. Then he could look at the boat for sale with a little more information.
There is also one for sale on the middle or upper Peninsula, which has a new engine in it. I think they were asking $18500. This is a heck of a deal for a 30' CD built boat.
