Posting "For Sale" & "Wanted to Buy"

Post by Cathy Monaghan »

Selling or looking for a Cape Dory? Selling or looking for used gear? List your "Wanted to Buy" or "For Sale" items here. Your item will remain in this forum for at least 180 days after which it will be deleted. After it's been deleted, if you still have not sold your Cape Dory or used gear, feel free to re-post your item.

If you want to keep your item active and near the top of the board where it is most likely to be seen, don't forget to return to the message board and post a Reply to your item to more it back up to the top. Do this once every 2 or 3 weeks but not more often than that.

Please be sure to read the board FAQs regarding "for sale" items before you add your item.

And if you see something that peaks your interest, please contact the seller via e-mail or phone rather than posting a reply.
  • Regarding registration and your e-mail address: the board's software protects it from spammers. So rather than displaying your e-mail address within a posted message, those that want to contact you have the option of clicking on either the 'email' or 'pm' buttons which appear below each posted message. If they choose the 'email' button they can send you a message via a form. If they choose the 'pm' button you'll get a 'private message' which you'll access via the message board or from a link you'll receive via e-mail. Either way they'll never see your e-mail address unless you send them a reply. Non-registered users cannot send you an 'email' or a 'pm' via the board. So in order to maintain this added security and your privacy, please never do as I have done in this message, NEVER include your e-mail address within the text of a message or within your 'signature'.
Fair winds,
Cathy
