Hi,
i have looked at about a half dozen CD 25s. I'm interested in buying one, but all the one's I've seen have port hole fittings made of plastic or aluminum, neither of which I find attractive. There are two CD 25s in my harbor that I admire and they both have round bronze port hole fittings and it makes the boat look so nice!. Is this unusual? Is there a year period where this design was used? Any help appreciated.

I thought Reagan ushered in the luxury tax on boats ?
Do I have the dates wrong? Surely no one from Maine would do this!
how are bronze fittings cheaper than plastic?
I would think it would be the other way around. Bronze sure looks nicer

ERIC - A bit of confusion. The bronze were offered as an option (at an additional cost). The plastic became the standard on base models.

I'm still confused... Does this mean there are no bronze por
before 1981, or is it just that they became an option after that time?
