25D Hull #

Hello

I should be taking delivery of my new 25D within a few weeks. I have a hull number question? The number is CPDY0148M84C. I know cpyd = Cape Dory Yachts, 0148 = hull number, M84C = year built, but what does the "M" and the "C" represent?
