Does anyone have any experience in converting Cape Dory from outboard to inboard diesel, especially a CD22? Where would I get information on making the conversion? Recommend or discourage the proceedure?

I'd be curious whether you could actually get a diesel inside a CD22 withoug taking the boat apart. Also sounds like you'd be adding a ton of weight and would change the trim of the boat quite a bit.
It might be easier in the long run to sell the 22 and buy a 25D.
