Onset Lodging

We are making our final plans for lodging in the Onset area and I have seen B. Ohlers post about the Inn at Onset. Are there other choices for lodging in the immediate area?

Thanks

Bill

Hi Bill,

I tried to e-mail you twice today and am getting error messages. I'm wondering now did you get my May 3rd e-mail regarding your trip to Onset? Let me know. If E-mail doesn't work you can call me days at 781-340-6500.

Regards,

Gary

Bill - I have copied the information from my March 23, 1999 posting below for your easy reference:

Several of our guests have requested information on land accommodations for the upcoming Onset Rendezvous. I have contacted several Inn’s in the area and provided a listing of those which come recommended by family and friends.

The Beachmore B&B - Approximately 5 minute drive from P.I. Yacht Club. Wonderful rooms most with water views. Unfortunately the water views are not of Onset Bay so you will not be able to admire all the CD’s from your room. 508-759-7522

The Inn at Onset Bay - A 3 minute walk by land or beach to P.I. Yacht Club, with nice bay views. They have a block of room reserved for another event, but anticipate several becoming available. They will create a waiting list and contact you if / when rooms become available. This is my recommendation as the proximity to the Yacht Club is very convenient 508-295-4800

The Reynolds House B&B - A 5-10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to P.I. Yacht Club. A true New England B&B with nice views of Onset Bay (keep an admiring eye on the CD’s). 508-291-4036

We're staying at the Inn. Christie Logan at the Inn was very nice and helpful. She mentioned another place next door that seemed more like a bed and breakfast. I didn't write it down but if the Inn doesn't fit your parameters, ask Christie.

By the way - the Inn has a two night minimum - which we took although we won't be there Friday - so if anyone needs a room for an additional night (either Friday or Sunday) email me and we will arrange an advantageous sublet.
