Cape Dory 25 - Bilge Pumps

Dear All:

I am interested in detailed suggestions on the installation of a Whale Gusher bilge pump on Cape Dory 25.

Note that I have already installed the pump in the portside cockpit well/locker with the pump discharge leading through an overboard discharge fitting installed on the port quarter. I am particularly interested in detailed suggestions on the routing of the suction hose from the pump to the bilge (access inside the cabine).
