New Cushions CD25D Cheap...

I was just at j&M Canvas in Fall River MA today to get CD25 cushions made. They have about 20 sets of brand new CD25d interior cushions that were left over from when Cape Dory made the CD25d's. They're still in Boxes. They will sell them for $150 -$200.
J&M's # 508-673-6703. Ask for Mike. Please mention my name -Paul Reiss. Perhaps they'll give me a discount on the ones I'm getting made if I help them get rid of the 25D cushions.

I just called -- they have Lots of Typhoon cushions as well as some 28s and 31s and lots of sail covers for 28s and 31s. The guy is really pleased his "secret" is out!

I picked up a set of 25D cushion covers this morning at J&M for $150!!! I'll treat you to your favorite beverage[beverages would be more appropriate] when I meet you. I mentioned you and the web site, so hopefully you'll get a discount.
I think they have only seven or eight sets left, so potential buyers; don't delay. Also, make sure you check the box when purchasing. Mine was missing the qtr. berth and the port filler. They cannibalized another box to accomodate me. They only take cash. They seem to have a lot of 28' and 30' sail covers at a consignment store in Newport, RI. I think he quoted $165 for a 30' sail cover. Other than the 25D, I don't think he has any leftover cushions.

Glad lots of you have tapped into this great find. Please continue to call them. For those who are replacing Cape Dory 25's I delivered them new templates for cushions. Perhaps if everyone in search of new cushions for their 25's can collaborate w/eachother using this board to get a volume discount. I'm currently prepared to spend over $700 for new Sunbrella cushions. If there is a group of 3-5 people who need cushions they should collaborate then call to get a discount. Just a suggestion. For those who continue to call J&M please mention my name. Still working on getting a discount.
