Yanmar 6LPA-DTP (260) in a 28 Power

Has anyone else used the Yanmar 6LPA-DTP 260 horse in a 28 power? I'm hoping to move from the Westerbeke 100 and a 7 knot cruise, to a 15 knot cruise speed. Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

I have just come upon your post (a little late). Did you ever make the swap? I have a 33 power and installed 2 of these back in 2005, best thing I ever did was to get rid of the smokey Volvos. Al
