I am considering the purchase of a Typhoon Weekender. Where am I likely to find the hull identification # ? I know about the bronze plaque but I am unsure whether this is still attached.

Don't know about a Typhoon specifically, but the hull number of Sirius is stamped on the stern and again inside the stbd lazarette.

On my Typhoon, an '80, the serial number which includes the hull number, is imprinted in the gelcoat near the top of the starboard side of the transom.
