Typhoon V-Birth Cushions

Post by Mollie and Josh »

We are planning on making new V-birth cushions for our typhoon. We have ordered zippers, piping, etc. We are having trouble deciding on fabric. The old ones were vinyl. Should we do vinyl again, or sunbrella?

you can use any good scotch guarded material for the top and then use a vinyl on the back side.

Sunbrealla is a good choice too. I personally am not a big fan of all vinyl.

 Hi.
you can make them your self or go to JSI.com and order them.
first i made mine but they did not come out right, so i used them for something else.
but then i order them for $250 for the ty.
and they look good.
you can get any thing you want and color as well.
its not bad for the price.

question for Winthrop (cushions)

Post by HUSKERDEN »

Winthrop:

I called JSI, and they wanted $930 for cushions, and that was using stock fabric and grade B foam. They said your price must be incorrect. Can you verify info?

Thanks huskerden@ev1.net

Hi....
i had it done last year and the man sent me a color chart for vinyl only, for only the v-berth only. (no extras added).
i had to trace the out line for them and send it to them, so they could make it, he only charged my card for $30 for shipping (ups) and $250 for both sides.
but i did order it in the winter, because he told me it is allot cheaper, so i did.
i am sorry that i did not say that before, but i don't understand why they are changing you so much more.
if i can help you in any way, i will try.
when i have to order any thing, i all was do it in the winter, the cost is allot less.
again i am sorry.
