well i have seen thousands of boats from the 70's and having many of them.
there was three boats that look like the 25cd, but the main differents was the kneel shape, but above the water line look like each other.
what all was gave it away was the amount of port holes size.
a friend of mine had a ranger 25 that above the water line look very much like a cd, but the port holes were shape different and the keel was cut more in words.
besides i had seen people make changes to there boats for what ever reason, just to say i did that, to make it look different then others.
all i am saying is fix her up and enjoy it to the fullest and have fun with it, it really does not matter what others think as long as you like it, right.
