Does anyone know the details of what was done by Cape Dory to the design of the Greenwhich 24 after they bought the molds from the Allied Boat Company. Who did the redesign work. What happened to George Stadel?

In dec.98 I purchased a 73 cd25 hull#32 I have wondered if there is any difference between it and the greenwich 24. Is there any other cd25s afloat older than mine? Is the flat winch handle still available or do you just buy new winchs?

I gleaned this URL, maybe they'd know where to get the handles.

Re: Greenwich 24 to CD25
jim, a neat thing. i visited the valez marina in port henry, new york on lake champlain yesterday. as a cd 25 owner, i recognized the hull shape, went over, and there was a greenwich 24 resting on the cradle. you can see that the cabin was smaller with only two ports on each side. the engine well was also a bit further forward.
