Thank you all for your replies on the subject of the Taylor cabin heaters.
I have some problem getting replies to messages onto the board due to
some quirk with my system, so hence the new posting.
Our unit is labelled Essex Model 065 or 066 ( a bit hard to read ).
I have tried to light it with kerosine, and it seems reluctant to burn
despite alot of priming. The previous owner tells me it uses kerosine
but I am not sure now. Could it be a diesel model.
I have tried the Defender catalogue but couldnt find Taylor amongst the
search items and got no repsonse.
Does anyone have a similar unit and can anyone confirm what fuel it
should use. Thanks again for your help.
