Oil in exhaust water - (1GM)

New to diesel engines. Small amount of oil discharges with exhaust water during warm-up. Clears up after 2 to3 min of run time. Do I have a serious problem?

I have the same and the engine is fine. You are seeing a bit of unburned diesel that has collected during start.

I have the same problem and have various opinions about the source of unburned diesel. I would like to have input from other 1gm owners also re;how to remedy this discharge as it is somewhat embarrassing to leave a black residue on the water after starting in the marina!
