I have a 1974 CD25 and would like to replace some or all of original ports. Some glass is cloudy, aluminum somwhat corroded, leaky, etc. Are there any that fit the existing cutouts? I don't care if they're aluminum, plastic, or whatever. I don't want a lot of cutting and fairing work; nor do I care if they open or not. I want neat looking ports that keep water, both salt and rain, out.
I would also like to install a solar/passive power vent in the front hatch. Any suggestions/experiences?
Finally (for today)... The fitting in the forward part of the boom that holds the gooseneck has a small crack in one of the ears that hold the tack pin. No problem yet. Are any of those jewels available? And did the CD25 have a pivoting mast? That is one that tilted aft for unstepping?
That oughta do it....

The originals are available from Spartan Marine - 800-325-3287.AlanAnne wrote: I have a 1974 CD25 and would like to replace some or all of original ports.
I helped a freind install one on his boat in about 45 minutes; he says it completely eliminated mildew and odors.AlanAnne wrote: I would also like to install a solar/passive power vent in the front hatch. Any suggestions/experiences?
Rig-Rite has the parts for the boom - I don't know about the mast step tabernacle, but you could certainly have one fabricated by a local yard or metal shop.AlanAnne wrote: Finally (for today)...
