Hello,
I have a CD 28 (1976 hull #31)and it has lexan ports. The two aft ports are large while the rest appear to be similar in size to the bronze ports on most other CDs. I would like to replace them with bronze so I am asking if anyone knows a source of used bronze ports of the type normally used (Spartan I think). What should I expect to pay for such ports? Are there any 'wrecks' out there from which I could salvage/buy the ports? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

There was a Cape Dory (don't know what size) that was hauled into Marina Bay (Quincy, MA)
last fall... washed up on the rocks somewhere and was broken up. I don't know who has
ownership of the hulk... but try Bay View Yacht Sales at Marina Bay (they have a web page...
search "Bay View Yacht" and you should find it. Tell Mark I said hi.
