I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations regarding what oil I should use for my MD7A, v-drive and transmission. Thanks.

I have a MD7A on my CD 30 ketch. My Volvo Penta owners manual reccommends using the same SAE 30 diesel oil for the engine block, transmission and V-drive for operations above 50 degrees F. I hope that this information is of some help. T Hempton "TANQUERAY"
