Bought a Cape Dory 31!

On saturday I bought a 31' Cape Dory "Sashay"! Spent all weekend sailing her and getting to know her better. Just want to say thanks for all the great info I have received from all of you. I have never posted or replied to a message on this board before, but I have read every message in the archives. They have helped alot with my decision to buy the boat. She is on Lake Champlain in Vermont, which is gorgeous this time of year. Can't hardly wait for the weekend!

Congrats! While you were on Lake Champlain we were out past Point Bonita at the enterance to San Francisco Bay. Whereever they are to be fould they are great boats. Enjoy!

I'm sure you're going to love her. I've had mine over 10 years and am still pleased and happy with her, and we've logged a lot of sea miles under the keel together.

Congratulations! I was trying to find out about that boat for several weeks, ever since it was listed by Robinhood but they wouldn't send me info on how to contact the yard. Then I saw a listing (without the name) located on Lake Champlain, and contacted the broker, who told me it was already under contract. Best of luck, I hope you continue to enjoy it. If you know of any other good 31's or 32's in the New England area, let me know.
