mooring line chock pins? - CD33

Post by mike »

I'm not sure what to call these pins, but they are located on the bow and keep mooring lines in the cast bronze stemhead. they are on the port and starboard sides, just aft of the anchor roller.

I need to know if anyone has a source for them or if not if anyone knows what material they used.

thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,

Check with Spartan Marine at their website at www.spartanmarine.com/
the web page also has their phone number to call for specific information. I just ordered their catalogue for future reference.

Hope this helps.

Chock Pins

Post by Dana »

I believe the standard pins on the chocks are stainless, the chocks being bronze. Most all the hardware was provided by Spartan for the CDs....an sister company to the original Cape Dory Builders. Your boat model and/or dimensions of the stemhead will be helpful to them for identifing your part....
