Cape Dory Dinghy Rudder

I have a Cape Dory dinghy with no rudder. I would appreciate any help I could get in replacing the rudder. If I had a picture of the original rudder I think I could easily make a replacement. Also, I'm having trouble figuring out the rigging of the sheet. Again, a picture would be worth a thousand words. Thanks for the help.

Gary -

If the boat you have is a Cape Dory 10, the current manufacturer is Spartan Marine, at 1-800-3CLEATS. I believe they are out of stock on the boats at the moment, because during the summer they build Robinhood sailboats in the boatyard, but perhaps they can sell you a rudder or provide the information you nees.

I just restored an older cd 10 which included building a new rudder. I would be glad to advise you how I did it. I had a template which I believe was a second(3rd?) replacement that was inferior.
The rigging is pretty straight forward however I have some questions too. I can tell you what I know.
