Anyone found an off-the-shelf short dock light that can be removed easily for the winter. We like to have them on when returning after dark but need some that are readily available since ours at our summer cottage get damaged in the winter. All suggestions welcome, even for some that can't be removed but are standard catalog items.
Know this is slightly off the topic of sailing, but with winter approaching we are again faced with this problem.

Serge--
I don't know if this is what you have in mind, but Lowes and Home Depot sell solar-charged landscape lights that automatically come on at dusk. No wiring and they're inexpensive and made of plastic, so they're pretty sturdy and cheap to replace. About $60 for four. I haven't looked at them lately, but I imagine they have brackets that can be screwed to the dock.
